We understand obtaining accurate sizing information can often be an important part of your decision to move forward with a purchase of our jewelry. To help assist providing you this information, here are definitions to measurement terms commonly used for our jewelry descriptions:
Height: A measurement pertaining to the total height of the item.
Hanging Length: A measurement designated for our pendants with bails, post-dangle and French wire style earrings.
Width: A measurement pertaining to the item's widest point.
Necklace Length: Pertaining to the end-to-end measurement of the necklace (pendant measurement not included if applicable).
End-To-End Measurement: Specifically pertaining to the end-to-end interior measurement of the bracelet.
Opening Measurement: Specifically pertaining to the measurement of the bracelet's gap opening.
Total Bracelet Size: Pertaining to the end-to-end interior measurement combined with the opening measurement to determine the actual stated size of the bracelet.
Bracelets
To obtain your appropriate size, we recommend using a cloth tape for measuring the wrist area where you most prefer to wear your bracelet. Or, if you prefer, you can also use a string, mark where it meets on your wrist and lay it out next to a ruler or tape measure to obtain the correct size. This measurement is your total wrist size which is commensurate with our "Total Bracelet Size" ("End to End Measurement" + "Opening Measurement"). Please note that bracelets having a width measurement of two inches or more may require a slightly larger size than suggested in order for the wearer to obtain the most ideal fit. For example, a wrist size of 6 inches may be better fitted with a larger sized bracelet of 6.25 inches to 6.5 inches.
Rings
Most local jewelry outlets have a "ring sizer" that can be used to obtain the correct size for each of your fingers. You only need to be aware that rings designed with a wider band or shank (the portion of the ring that wraps around your finger) needs to be slightly larger than smaller-shanked rings in order to achieve a proper fit.
