Our Story

The company, originally formed as KESA Wholesale, was founded circa 1978 by co-owners Sam Shoultz and Ken Matzner. Soon after the unfortunate passing of Ken in 2016, Frank Petrouskie joined forces with Sam to help assist with the formidable demands of the well established wholesale business.

During the Fall of 2017, after much thought and consideration, Sam and Frank decided to cultivate a retail customer base with the launch of SilverTQ.com. Since that time their e-commerce business has built an impressive presence with loyal customers residing throughout the United States and abroad. "It's been a fun ride," offers Frank. "I believe we've sold our jewelry to buyers located in every state of the union. We've also made our mark internationally selling to customers residing in various parts of Europe, Japan, China, South Korea, Canada and Australia. And, what's more, we're just getting started!"

All of the jewelry items listed on SilverTQ.com are handmade by noteworthy Native American artists, many of whose jewelry creations are represented in prestigious Native American art museums throughout the United States. The business has greatly benefited from Sam's long standing relationships within the Native American jewelry community. His penchant for hand picking high quality handmade jewelry pieces has served the business and his many long-standing customers well. "You cannot be in this business for as long as I have without acquiring a few good skills along the way" says Sam half-jokingly. "I've been quite fortunate to be associated with some of the finest Native American Jewelry business owners and talented Native American artists during my career."
